Shout Out Friday: Celebrating Daniel’s Progress

At Move Right EP, we believe every win, no matter how big or small, deserves recognition.

Today, we’re shining a spotlight on Daniel, one of our NDIS clients who has shown what’s possible with the right support, a consistent plan, and a positive attitude.

Meet Daniel: Building Strength, Confidence, and Health

Daniel came to us through the NDIS for exercise physiology at our Campbelltown clinic. He has been living with an intellectual disability and managing type 2 diabetes. Like many, he wanted to get healthier, feel better, and take control of his wellbeing, but wasn’t sure where to start.

Since beginning his journey with us, Daniel has been a model of consistency, attending his exercise physiology sessions twice a week.

Real Results: What Consistency Looks Like

  • Down cm's on his stomach—a clear sign of fat loss and improved health

  • Getting stronger every week—not just in the gym, but in everyday life

  • Changing his diet—adding more protein to areas like his breakfast, making better food choices throughout the day, and supporting his training

  • Feeling more energetic and confident—noticing improvements in mood and motivation

Why This Matters

For people living with intellectual disabilities or chronic conditions like T2DM, building healthy habits can feel overwhelming. Daniel’s story proves:

  • Progress is possible at any starting point

  • The right environment and support make all the difference

  • Small, consistent actions add up to big changes over time

How Move Right EP approaches NDIS Exercise Physiology at Campbelltown

We don’t do cookie-cutter programs. Every session with Daniel is designed around what matters most to him, his health goals, his current abilities, and where he wants to go next.

That means we regularly assess and adapt his plan, making sure it’s always challenging but achievable.

Each week, Daniel works through a mix of strength training (to build muscle and support healthy blood sugar), cardio (to boost heart health and endurance), and mobility work (to keep joints moving freely and reduce injury risk).

We also spend time on practical education, helping Daniel understand why each exercise matters, how nutrition choices like more protein support his results, and what progress looks like beyond the numbers.

Our focus is on building skills and confidence that last a lifetime.

We want Daniel to feel empowered, not just in the gym, but in every aspect of his daily life, so he can keep making healthy choices, stay active, and enjoy his independence for years to come.
